Co-founder of the Gemini Collection of mining art, Dr Robert McManners is a keen artist himself.
Bob describes himself as “a medical doctor by profession but always an artist by inclination”. He has drawn and painted since childhood, with figurative drawing and all things mechanical being favourite subjects. In his art, Bob takes inspiration from the local coal mines as well as the wildlife that first captivated him as a boy.
